be advised that the mid-year 2016 Internet World Stats and the world
population have both been updated in our database. The bottom line
indicates that there are now 3,566,321.015 Internet users in the world,
as of June 2016. The total world population is estimated at
7,340,093,980. The penetration rate of the Internet in the world, is
equivalent to 48.6%.
These stats can be seen on the web page that we call the Big Picture
because it shows the users, population and Internet penetration in main
the seven world regions. Only this table has been updated on the web
site More stats tables and graphs will be updated and published very
soon.
